The location was stunning and lovely in a peaceful area, so close to the peninsula as well as the park on the peninsula. Btw, it was at a moderate distance from Luderitz Museum.

The bed is super cozy, the bathroom is really spacious, and guess what? There's even a coffee maker in the room! You also get a nice sitting area and a couch that can be turned into a bed. the location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute stroll away from the Goerke House 🚶‍♂️.

Our stay at Island Cottage Guesthouse was very comfortable. The location is great, just outside the city center and next to the ocean on Shark Island. We had a beautiful sea view from our well-appointed room. The bathroom was modern and the shower was great. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful, and we even received a lovely greeting note from the owners. the hotel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

The front door of the hotel is very close to the road, which made it impossible to leave the door open due to the passing traffic. Additionally, the wind on the waterfront can be quite fierce at times.

We loved the stunning ocean views and the cozy, modern room with excellent bedding and kitchen facilities. The hotel's location was perfect for us, just a short walk from the town center and close to the NWR camp on the peninsula for a sunset walk. We appreciated the helpful staff who connected us with a penguin boat tour company and the bathroom and shower that were clean and well-appointed.

The location was also very convenient, just walking distance to many attractions and dining options. We loved the balcony and the cleanliness. The balcony was the perfect spot to watch the sunsets. The room was also spotlessly clean and well-maintained.

Noise pollution and insufficient insulation. Because of the hotel's location near a busy road, there was a lot of noise pollution that prevented us from enjoying our romantic escape completely. Additionally, the insulation was not sufficient enough to keep the noise out. We could hear every car passing by which affected our sleep quality.
